Mouz swept PARIVISION 2-0 to advance directly to the EWC playoffs, and after the match xertioN opened up on what the BLAST Bounty title meant for him personally and what it's doing for the team heading into Paris's knockout stage.

A Different Kind of Trophy

xertioN has won titles before, but the Bounty win landed differently. Taking it as an IGL for the first time, and doing it while helping xelex and pr claim their first tier-1 trophies, made it personal in a way the previous ones weren't. "I felt prouder of the achievement I made," he said. "It's something that I will cherish all my life." He was also quick to note that the win itself came as a surprise, even internally.

This victory was a surprise, not only for the community, but also for us in some way. We didn't expect it, but at the same time we were striving for it.

Why 2025 Broke Them

The most revealing line of the interview came when xertioN was asked whether winning Bounty could drain the team ahead of EWC. His answer went deeper than the question.

The confidence you get from winning trophies is massive, and I think this is a little bit of what broke us in 2025, that we were so close and we kept losing in the finals, in the semis.

Constant near-misses without a title to show for them took a toll that he's only able to articulate now that they're on the other side of it. Winning, he said, gives you clarity about what you're doing right and wrong that losing never quite provides.

Honest About the FUT Loss

xertioN didn't shy away from the Friday loss to FUT that forced Mouz into the elimination path in the first place. "We played our worst game together as a group. We were super disconnected at times." He credited FUT for being a momentum team that punishes disorganization, but was clear that Mouz handed them that momentum themselves with slow starts across all three maps.

On the playoffs, xertioN 's framing was direct: no specific targets, full confidence. "If we play our A-game, we have a really good chance against anyone in the world."
