Spirit survived elimination at the Esports World Cup after clawing back from a map down and a 5-10 deficit against BIG , and Donk wasn't in the mood to sugarcoat what's been a difficult event. He was, however, in the mood to defend his coach.

Honest About the Struggles

"I can't say that score was fair because we just lost the two pistol rounds."

I don't want to tell about the issues we are facing currently because it might give our opponents an advantage. We know our problems, and we are trying everything to fix them. We have some issues that you cannot fix in one day or two days.

The hally Question

The sharpest part of the interview came when Donk was asked about public criticism of coach hally since his return to the team. Donk pushed back without hesitation.

It's stupid to not rate hally as a great coach. Before the lineup changed, he qualified to the semi-finals and quarter-final at a Major. So even without me, they were a top five team in the world at their peak.
