Zuna is an AD player who joined the League of Legends professional scene in 2012. In the 2013 LCS season, when the league was first established, Zuna joined Team Vulcun and became teammates with famous jungle king Xmithie. Team Vulcun won the league championship for two consecutive seasons in the 2013 spring and summer splits and advanced to the 2013 global finals.
In the global finals, Team Vulcun finished fourth in the group stage with a record of 3 wins and 5 losses, failing to advance to the quarterfinals. Afterwards, in the 2014 season, Team Vulcun changed its name to XDG Gaming. After replacing their top laner Sycho Sid in the spring split, the team's performance declined sharply. They finished the regular season with a record of 7 wins and 21 losses, and in the subsequent promotion/relegation matches, they were swept 3-0 by the Chinese team LMQ. Zuna also chose to leave the professional scene after that.
His former teammate Xmithie retweeted the tweet about the funeral fundraising and wrote, "“ Chris (Zuna) was one of our closest friends in LCS. Whether on the field or off the field, he was the happiest person I've ever known. Hearing this news breaks my heart. He was very young and talented, it's so cruel that he passed away so early. You will always be one of my legends. Rest in peace, Zuna.”
Zuna passed away at the age of 33. His family has raised enough funds for his funeral with a total of 153 people and 154 donations, reaching the goal of $15,000, including a donation from the master brother Doublelift.
