zonic defends karrigan's individual level as Falcons chase Thunderpick title

Falcons coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen has defended Finn "karrigan" Andersen's individual performances, arguing that the veteran in-game leader brings important contributions beyond his personal statistics.

The comments followed Falcons ' opening victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026.

zonic highlights leadership impact

zonic believes karrigan's value cannot be measured solely through his individual fragging output.

He explained that the veteran's communication, leadership and ability to influence teammates can significantly improve the performances of other players.

The coach singled out Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin as one of the players who benefits from karrigan's leadership when the team's system is functioning effectively.

Falcons target greater consistency

Despite entering Thunderpick as one of the favorites, Falcons have struggled to maintain their strongest form throughout the autumn season.

zonic acknowledged that the team still needs improvements on its defensive sides, greater stability across its map pool and more consistent results against leading opponents.

He emphasized that Falcons are focused on improving their processes rather than judging progress solely by whether they win the next tournament.

The team began its Thunderpick campaign with a sweep against Ninjas in Pyjamas , putting them in a strong position to challenge for a playoff berth.
