Sentinels sign Champions MVP brawk following OXY arrival

Sentinels have signed Brock “ brawk ” Somerhalder from NRG, adding the 2025 Champions MVP immediately after securing former Cloud9 duelist Francis “ OXY ” Hoang.

The two arrivals reshape Sentinels ’ lineup ahead of the 2027 season, joining johnqt , Reduxx and cortezia on the organization’s listed roster.

brawk brings international championship experience

brawk joined NRG in February 2025 following his time in the Moist Moguls , Moist x Shopify and Shopify Rebellion systems.

His breakthrough came later that year. NRG recovered from a difficult Stage 1, qualified for Champions Paris and completed an unbeaten tournament run to claim the world championship. brawk earned the event’s MVP award at his first VCT international appearance.

NRG remained internationally competitive in 2026, attending all three global VCT events. Their results included third place at Masters Santiago and a top-six finish at Champions Shanghai, although they did not add another title.

OXY and brawk headline the rebuild

OXY ’s arrival from Cloud9 gives Sentinels an established duelist, while brawk adds an experienced initiator whose utility play and Odin proficiency became defining features of NRG’s championship campaign.

Together, the signings give Sentinels two prominent additions with different responsibilities within the lineup.

The listed coaching staff features Ewok as head coach and GUNTER as assistant coach. With five players now named, Sentinels have established the Core of their next competitive roster as preparations continue for 2027.
