KR Esports Ü part ways with mwzera and heat as VALORANT rebuild continues

KR Esports Ü Esports have announced the departures of mwzera and heat , continuing an extensive overhaul of their main VALORANT roster after a disappointing 2026 season.

mwzera had already received permission to explore opportunities as a restricted free agent in September. His departure now makes him an unrestricted free agent.

Less remains the only active player

With saadhak and Dantedeu5 previously moved to the inactive roster, the latest departures leave Less as KR Esports Ü’s only active player.

Head coach ZONYK and analyst Fadeout remain listed with The Team . KR Esports Ü had also previously parted ways with analyst chippy and performance coach Psiarthurleon.

Promising Stage 1 gives Way to difficult finish

KR Esports Ü missed Americas Kickoff because of visa problems but showed improvement during Stage 1, finishing the group stage 4–1.

That promise did not translate into a deep playoff run, with defeats to G2 Esports and NRG Ending their campaign.

Stage 2 brought a sharper decline: KR Esports Ü went 1–4 in groups and ultimately finished ninth–tenth after the Play-Ins.

mwzera primarily handled Initiator duties during the season, while heat joined the midseason rebuild and played secondary Duelist and Chamber roles. Their exits open further positions as KR Esports Ü assemble their next lineup.
