All four Chinese representatives have been eliminated from VALORANT Champions 2026 after EDward Gaming and JD Gaming lost their respective elimination matches on October 2.
Global Esports swept EDG 2–0 in Group B before T1 defeated JDG 2–1 in Group A, ending the host region's remaining hopes at Champions Shanghai.

Global opened the day with a convincing victory over EDward Gaming .
GE took their own Summit pick 13–5 before winning EDG's Sunset pick 13–6, completing the series without requiring Lotus.
The result eliminated EDG from Group B and kept Global Esports alive in the tournament.
Global will next face LOUD in the Group B deciding match, with a playoff berth on the line.
JDG entered the second elimination match as China's final remaining representative and pushed T1 to three maps.
T1 narrowly won Lotus 13–11 after the opening half finished 6–6.
JDG responded emphatically on Abyss. A 9–3 defensive half put them firmly in control before they closed the map 13–3 to tie the series.
T1 recovered on Haven.
The Korean side established an 8–4 halftime advantage before extending its lead after the break and closing the deciding map 13–5.
The 2–1 defeat eliminated JD Gaming and confirmed that no Chinese team would reach the VALORANT Champions 2026 playoffs.
T1 remain alive and will face FUT Esports in the Group A deciding match.
