Asuna credits bang and 100 Thieves staff for successful flex role

Peter " Asuna " Mazuryk has credited his teammates and coaching staff for helping him adapt to a wider range of agents during 100 Thieves ' run at VALORANT Champions 2026.

The comments came after 100 Thieves secured a playoff berth with a 2:0 victory over FUT Esports in the Group A winners' match.

100 Thieves adjust Split composition

Asuna explained that the team's changes on Split were designed to help Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban perform more effectively.

With Sean "bang" Bezerra comfortable on Viper, Asuna moved onto Omen as part of the new setup.

He said the role has been relatively easy to adapt to and gives the team another option when building compositions around Cryocells.

Asuna also credited bang's experience on Omen for making the transition easier.

The 100 Thieves player has filled several different roles during the tournament, including SAGE , Phoenix and Omen, and said the support from his teammates and coach has helped him quickly understand what is required in different situations.

The victory over FUT gave 100 Thieves their second consecutive 2:0 series at Champions Shanghai and secured their place in the playoffs.
