100 Thieves survive five-map thriller against LOUD to win VCT Americas Stage 2

100 Thieves claimed the VCT 2026: Americas Stage 2 championship after surviving a dramatic five-map grand final against LOUD in São Paulo.

LOUD dominated two maps and came agonizingly close to taking the title, but 100 Thieves completed enormous comebacks on Ascent and Haven to secure the series 3:2.

100 Thieves 3:2 LOUD

LOUD immediately disrupted expectations on Split.

100 Thieves had used their upper-bracket advantage to ban Abyss and Lotus, forcing LOUD onto Split despite the Brazilian side traditionally avoiding the map.

That did not matter.

LOUD produced a dominant 9:3 attacking half with a Neon-Yoru composition and converted both pistol rounds on the way to a 13:7 victory.

Cryocells helps 100T level the series

Sunset became a considerably tighter battle.

The teams traded control throughout the map, but 100 Thieves managed to avoid overtime and close the game 13:11.

Cryocells delivered one of his strongest maps of the final, recording 24 kills and a 1.43 rating in the Chamber mirror matchup.

The result tied the series at 1:1.

100 Thieves erase 10:2 Ascent deficit

Ascent produced the defining comeback of the grand final.

LOUD completely dominated the opening half and entered the side switch ahead 10:2.

The championship appeared to be slipping away from 100 Thieves .

Instead, 100T mounted one of the biggest recoveries of the entire Stage 2 playoffs.

They gradually cut into LOUD 's lead, forced overtime and eventually completed the comeback with a 14:12 victory.

Asuna played a huge role in the turnaround, finishing Ascent with 28 kills.

The result moved 100 Thieves onto championship point.

LOUD answer with 13:1 demolition

LOUD responded in brutal fashion on Summit.

There was no comeback this time.

The Brazilian side conceded only a single round throughout the entire map and destroyed 100 Thieves 13:1.

The crushing victory forced the championship onto Haven.

Haven goes to overtime

The deciding map delivered another tense finish.

LOUD entered halftime ahead 7:5 and remained within touching distance of the title throughout the second half.

100 Thieves again refused to collapse.

They forced the map into overtime, where Timotino and Asuna delivered the biggest individual performances for the eventual champions.

Timotino finished Haven with 27 kills and 289 ACS, while Asuna added 23 kills and 263 ACS.

100 Thieves eventually closed Haven 14:12 to complete the five-map victory.

He finished with 98 kills, 64 deaths, 22 assists and 243 ACS.

Despite his performance, 100 Thieves found the decisive rounds when they mattered most.

The championship completes an undefeated playoff run for 100T, who swept Leviatán and NRG before surviving LOUD in the final.

100 Thieves earned $100,000 for first place, while LOUD received $65,000.

Both teams will represent the Americas at VALORANT Champions 2026, with 100 Thieves entering Shanghai as the region's first seed.
