The first team to be eliminated from the tournament was Cubert Academy , who lost to T1 on Sunset with a score of 7:13. The Korean team dominated most of the rounds, with stax being the standout player of the match, finishing with a KD of 19/10 and an ACS of 269. Despite a solid individual performance from Kess (16/17), it was not enough to stop T1 .
Cloud9 vs G2 Esports
The second team to be eliminated was Cloud9 , who lost to G2 on Haven with a score of 11:13. The American team held on strongly, with Xeppaa securing 20 kills, but the driving force behind G2's victory was jawgemo , who finished the match with a KD of 27/17 and an ACS of 304. G2 confidently move on.
The third team to leave the playoffs was Sentinels , again after losing to G2 — this time on Split, with a score of 8:13. Despite an excellent performance from cortezia (21/13, ACS 269), G2 looked more composed overall. The top performer for G2 was babybay with a KD of 18/13 and an ACS of 245.
In the lower bracket quarterfinals, T1 tried to challenge Fnatic , but the European powerhouse easily closed out Haven with a score of 13:5. The leader of the match was Alfajer , who finished with a KD of 19/14 and an ACS of 286. Despite attempts to bounce back, T1 became the fourth team to be eliminated.
Fnatic vs G2 Esports
In the lower bracket final, Fnatic faced the powerful G2, but lost in a tense match on Abyss, with a score of 13:15. For Fnatic , this marked the end of their tournament run. Alfajer was once again the top performer for his team (25/25), but jawgemo 's performance for G2 (KD 34/23, ACS 344) turned the tide of the game. Thus, Fnatic became the fifth team to be eliminated from the playoffs.
As a result of these matches, ZETA DIVISION and NRG are advancing to the upper bracket final, where they will face off for a spot in the grand final. G2 Esports move on to the lower bracket final, where they will await their opponent.
Red Bull Home Ground 2025 is taking place from November 13th to 16th in LAN format at the Hammerstein Ballroom. 17 teams are competing for the championship title with no prize pool.
