GamerDoc Announces End of 2PC DMA Cheats After Vanguard Update

Vanguard anti-cheat analyst GamerDoc reported that two weeks ago, Riot Games engineers implemented a new protection system called IOMMU Restriction Enforcement. According to him, this event marked the end of the era of 2PC DMA attacks that utilized input-output mechanisms to bypass anti-cheat.

GamerDoc explained that with the implementation of this technology, each external device is now strictly confined to its own memory region and cannot read data beyond it. "No matter what you do, any interference will break the very principle of 'security' of the two PCs," he noted.

According to the analyst, the largest developers of DMA cheats, including HPTT-level solutions costing $4500, have either completely ceased operations or are attempting to devise theories to bypass the protection. However, such attempts amount to a "niche of foolish ideas" that only lead to detection and bans.

In conclusion, he added that he collected examples of the reactions from DMA cheat developers and also showed a video published by one of them. "This is the end of 2PC DMA attacks 2016–2025," GamerDoc summarized.
