Paper Rex Defeats Detonation FocusMe at VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 in Omega Group

Paper Rex secured a 2:0 victory over Detonation FocusMe (Lotus 13:7, Haven 13:5) during VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 in the Omega group.

The MVP title in this match went to d4v41 , who delivered an outstanding performance with 41 kills across the two maps. He recorded an average ADR of 180 and an ACS of 263, with a particularly dominant showing on Haven. On average, his stats in this match were 34% better than his usual performance. 

This marks the second win in two matches for Paper Rex in the Omega group, placing them temporarily at the top of the standings. For DFM, it’s their first loss, but they remain within the top four — the playoff qualification zone. However, with only two of five rounds played, the situation can still change drastically.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 is taking place from July 15 to August 31 in LAN format. Twelve partnered teams from the Pacific region are competing for two direct spots at Valorant Champions 2025, valuable Pacific Points, and a $250,000 prize pool.
