Map Pool Changes to Take Effect at Masters Toronto

Riot Games has officially announced changes to the tournament map pool: the map Fracture is leaving the tournament pool, making way for Sunset — a map that hasn't been seen on the pro scene since the finals of VALORANT Champions 2024. On April 3rd, organizers notified that until the end of Masters Toronto , pro players will compete on the patch before the Tejo changes and the previous map pool.

The tournament will be played on patch 10.10, which brings significant changes to the meta, especially for Initiators: ultimates now require more points, abilities have become more expensive, do not recharge, and have reduced range.

VCT 2025: Masters Toronto will take place from June 7th to 22nd in Toronto , Canada. The top 12 teams from around the world will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000 and additional VCT points. More information about the event can be found at the link.
