New VALORANT map teaser and changes to competitive map integration

Riot Games has released a teaser for an upcoming VALORANT map, which, unlike previous releases, will be added to the competitive ranked pool immediately upon launch — not two weeks later as before. However, there’s a slight twist. This was revealed in a new video on the game's official YouTube channel.

The developers confirmed that the new map will be showcased during Masters Toronto 2025. The video includes several seconds of gameplay footage from the new location. Upon release, the map will be instantly available in ranked mode. However, losses on the map will deduct only half the usual RR (Rank Rating), while wins will grant the standard amount. This adjustment is meant to help players adapt more comfortably to the new environment.

The map introduces a new tactical layer to site control, featuring multi-level areas that demand thoughtful use of agent abilities.
