VCT 2025: China Stage 1 playoff bracket revealed after group stage conclusion

The eight teams that advanced from the group stage of VCT 2025: China Stage 1 have been placed into a Double Elimination playoff bracket based on their performance. The teams that topped their groups gained a significant advantage, while the fourth-placed teams will face additional challenges right from the start.

On April 13, the final matches of the group stage concluded, where 12 partnered teams from VCT China competed for playoff spots. Only eight teams advanced to the next phase. Their seeding in the playoff bracket was determined by their final positions in the groups: first-place teams from each group secured a slot directly in the second round of the upper bracket, second and third-place teams begin from the first round, while the fourth-place teams start from the lower bracket.

The opening matches will feature TEC Esports vs Wolves Esports and XLG Esports vs Nova Esports . The winners of these matches will advance to the second round, where EDward Gaming and Bilibili Gaming are already waiting. The losing teams will drop into the lower bracket.

The playoff stage of VCT 2025: China Stage 1 will begin on April 17. In this stage, eight teams will continue their battle for three spots at VCT 2025: Masters Toronto, as well as for valuable China Points, which could be crucial at the end of the season for earning additional invitations to VALORANT Champions 2025.
