FunPlus Phoenix is the second team from China to secure a spot at the Valorant Champions 2024

Recently, it was announced that the Chinese team  FunPlus Phoenix  has already secured a place at the future event.

As a reminder, the current regular season of the Valorant Champions Tour 2024 Stage 2 in the Chinese region is nearing its conclusion. The playoffs are still to come, but even before they start, it was revealed that regional favorites  EDward Gaming  were the first team to qualify for the upcoming championship. A few days after this news, the group stage of the tournament concluded, determining the second participant from the Chinese region heading to the main event of the year.

FunPlus Phoenix  became the second team from the Chinese region to advance to the world championship. Thanks to their experience, the team performed exceptionally well in both Stage 1 and Stage 2, finishing the group stage of the last tournament with a record of 7-3 and second place in the rankings. This allowed the club to advance directly to the upper bracket semifinals of the playoffs, but regardless of the outcomes of the upcoming matches, the team has guaranteed itself a spot in the future championship.

As a result,  FunPlus Phoenix  became the third team to qualify for Valorant Champions 2024. With a total of 16 teams at the event, we look forward to the upcoming matches to see which teams will compete for the title of the strongest.
