The MongolZ overcome Immortality Armour to win MCT East Asia and qualify for M8

The MongolZ won the MLBB Championship Tour East Asia title on home soil, defeating DianFengYaoGuai 5–3 at M Bank Arena in Ulaanbaatar.

The victory secured Mongolia’s representatives a direct place in the M8 World Championship Main Stage, while DFYG and third-placed Guangzhou Gaming qualified for the Wild Card in Bangkok.

Two series wins complete the lower-bracket recovery

The MongolZ first swept Guangzhou Gaming 3–0 in the lower-bracket final before facing DFYG for the championship.

DFYG entered the final with the tournament’s Immortality Armour advantage after advancing through the upper bracket unbeaten.

Under that format, DFYG needed four game wins to become champions. The MongolZ , as the lower-bracket finalist, had to reach four wins to break the armour before winning one additional game.

A fifth victory delivers the championship

The MongolZ reached four wins before DFYG , triggering the Armour Break and removing the upper-bracket advantage.

They then secured their fifth game victory to finish the series 5–3, completing the title run and claiming East Asia’s direct M8 berth.

The tournament brought together six teams from Mongolia, China, Japan and South Korea.

For The MongolZ , the result turns a regional championship on home soil into a place among the 16 teams competing for the world title in Istanbul.
