Team Spirit sweep MCC final to secure M8 berth and continue Golden Road bid

Team Spirit defeated Aurevia Team 4–0 in the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 grand final, securing direct qualification for the M8 World Championship Main Stage.

The clean sweep completed another regional championship campaign and strengthened Spirit’s pursuit of the Golden Road following their Mid Season Cup victory earlier in the year.

Four straight wins settle the final

Spirit won every game of the best-of-seven final, preventing Aurevia from extending the series beyond its minimum four games.

The result sends Spirit directly to Istanbul, where the M8 Main Stage will take place in January 2027.

Their lineup features Hiko, Kid Bomba , zauregoist , Sunset Lover and SAWO , with the latter two bringing experience dating back to the inaugural M Series in 2019.

Three EECA teams reach the M8 pathway

Aurevia’s runner-up finish earned a place in the M8 Wild Card, while third-placed Team Yandex also qualified for that stage in Bangkok.

The results give Eastern Europe and Central Asia three representatives across the M8 qualification structure.

For Spirit, the world championship offers a chance to complete the title sequence described by MOONTON as the Golden Road: winning the season’s major regional competitions, MSC and the M Series.
