MPL ID Season 16 Begins This Week, with the Road to M7 Starting in Jakarta
The most prestigious competition in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang realm is back. MPL Indonesia Season 16 has officially begun, marking a new chapter in the history of national esports. This season will determine who will represent Indonesia at the M7 World Championship , which will be held in Jakarta in January 2026.

Since its launch in 2017, MPL Indonesia has grown from the country's first professional league to one of the most-watched esports tournaments globally. Season 15 recorded a peak viewership of 4.1 million for the Grand Final, making it one of the 10 most-watched esports tournaments of all time , according to data from Esports Charts.
This achievement reflects the strong bond between the Indonesian community and MLBB, as well as the competitive quality that continues to improve from season to season.
The Decisive Season Leading to M7
The Regular Season will run from August 22 to October 19, 2025, at the MPL Arena in Tanjung Duren, Jakarta . Nine of Indonesia's best teams will compete for a place on the global stage.
