
Despite Failing to Win the MSC 2025 Championship, RRQ Hoshi & ONIC ID Won Billions of Rupiah!
The MSC 2025 tournament officially concluded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the spotlight on two Indonesian representatives: RRQ Hoshi and ONIC . Although they failed to win the title, both returned home with their heads held high and a lucrative prize pool.
The yellow hedgehog team performed impressively throughout MSC 2025. After eliminating several strong teams in the group and playoff phases, ONIC ID had to give up in the fight for third place from its franchise sibling, ONIC PH , in a tight match with a score of 2–3 .
Failure to reach the podium didn't make ONIC ID's efforts in vain. They earned a prize of USD 150,000 , or approximately IDR 2.5 billion , as the fourth-place team at MSC 2025.
RRQ Hoshi : Knocked Out in the Quarterfinals, Takes Home Rp1.64 Billion
RRQ Hoshi had shown signs of revival at MSC 2025, but their progress had to stop in the quarter- finals after a dramatic 2–3 defeat to SRG.OG , the defending champion from Malaysia.
Despite failing to make it to the top four, RRQ still received a prize of USD 100,000 , equivalent to IDR 1.64 billion . The match against SRG was one of the most tense matches of the tournament, extending the fierce rivalry between the two teams.

The total prize pool for MSC 2025 reached USD 3 million or around IDR 49 billion , making it the tournament with the largest prize pool in Mobile Legends history.
