ONIC Philippines and Team Liquid PH to represent MPL Philippines in MSC 2025

ONIC Philippines and Team Liquid PH have qualified for MSC 2025 after advancing to the grand finals of MPL Philippines Season 15.

ONIC Philippines and Team Liquid PH have qualified for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025 after advancing to the grand finals of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 15. Both teams will battle 21 other squads from around the world in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a chance to take the MSC trophy and back to the Philippines.

ONIC Philippines got their spot in the MSC 2025 first after becoming the first team to qualify for the MPL Philippines 2025 grand finals. Their journey started in the Play-ins, where they defeated Twisted Minds PH with a close 3-2 victory. They continued their winning ways by beating league favourites Aurora Gaming in the upper bracket semifinals before sweeping Team Liquid PH in the upper bracket finals.

Meanwhile, Team Liquid PH started their Playoff journey in the upper bracket semifinals after finishing first in the Regular Season of MPL Philippines 2025. Their journey began with a victory over fierce rival Team Falcons PH , beating them in a close 3-2 series. However, their progress was hindered after losing in the upper bracket finals to ONIC PH and getting dropped down to the lower bracket. They regained the momentum by winning the lower bracket finals in a rematch over Team Falcons PH , this time with a 4-2 scoreline.

The MSC 2025, hosted as part of the Esports World Cup 2025, will commence on 10 July, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, going all the way to 2 August. Meanwhile, the MPL Philippines Season 15 will continue with a grand finals bout between ONIC Philippines and Team Liquid PH in a best-of-seven series, with the winner being crowned as the champion of the Philippines.
