SaintDeLucaz Discusses Taunting of Team Liquid ID Players, Do You Agree?
Team Liquid ID aka TLID is one of the teams in MPL ID S14 that is known to be "brave" both when competing in the sense of their aggressive playing style, and outside of the match such as during interviews.
TLID players like Aran , Aeron, Faviannn, and others often seem to really enjoy answering questions from hosts like Clara Mongstar or the media with quite "spicy" answers.
It is not uncommon for the results of these "taunting" interviews to result in the players who conducted them being hit by a storm of insults in the team's and their own social media comment columns.
Did the TLID players' behavior get the blessing of their coach, SaintDeLucaz? Did the coach allow it or forbid it?
Team Liquid Players Who Taunted in MPL ID S14 Asked to Bear Their Own Risk
After the match against AE on September 7, 2024, SaintDeLucaz, who attended the interview, discussed how he actually acted on his protégé's penchant for "taunting".
The TLID coach explained that he himself did not limit his players from giving harsh answers in interviews or other similar activities.
According to him, it is part of how they have fun, and he is also sure that players like Widy, Yehezkiel, et al. already understand that there are risks they have to face.
" It's free, at least if they say something wrong, or rude, it's their risk, it's part of the fun too, " explained SaintDeLucaz.
TLID Aeron Explains His Taunting Was Not Management's Order
Many people feel that "taunting" is something that really attracts the audience's attention, therefore it could be that the team that often does it is ordered by "management" who are trying to create "entertainment".
However, TLID is not like that, based on Aeron's confession in the same interview as SaintDeLucaz previously, he admitted that his behavior during the interview was not an order from management.
" No (I was told to do it), I was just taught to be respectful, " admitted Aeron.
TLID's interview after winning will always be a moment that all viewers have been waiting for, of course the players also know this, now it's just a matter of how they continue to seek victory in MPL ID S14.
