EVOS Oner, Head of Esports EVOS Glory explained the reason behind Sutsujin 's sale. Reported by One Esports, the White Tiger team had actually planned to release Sutsujin 's loan period from King Empire.
However, ahead of the roster lock to face MPL ID S14, RRQ Hoshi came with an offer with the aim of making Sutsujin part of the team.
Far from his best performance when he won WCG with EVOS ICON , Kingdom also initially did not agree with Sutsujin 's recruitment.
However, on the other hand, RRQ Hoshi 's head coach, Khezcute, managed to convince the management to immediately buy him.
" We actually don't have a problem with the (transfer) numbers, to be honest. Because we already have a lot of jungle, so the reason EVOS sold Sutsujin to RRQ was because it was Sutsujin 's own choice," Oner told One Esports.
Furthermore, Oner also explained to Sutsujin about his role in EVOS Glory for the MPL ID S14 event, as well as the offer from RRQ Hoshi .
"We've said, 'Arthur, if you're at EVOS, your role is here. But there's an offer from another team," Oner added.
So, it was not EVOS who wanted Sutsujin to move, but Arthur himself who accepted the offer from RRQ Hoshi because he wanted to play in MPL consistently.
"Then he accepted another team's offer, okay, that's fine. So it's not EVOS that forced him to sell because he didn't pass the trial or whatever reason.
But it was purely because Sutsujin wanted to play in MPL. Seeing Sutsujin successfully perform in MPL, we are also happy. We even have no problem with him often chatting in MPL," he concluded.
