Games of Future MLBB: Russia Hosts International Tournament
Reportedly, the latest world tournament in Russia, named Games of Future MLBB, is set to take place in February 2024, featuring invited teams previously competing in M5. However, this time the organizers are not from Moonton but from Games of Future 2024, an international tournament for various games held in Russia. According to Liquipedia, the Mobile Legends tournament will invite 16 teams, with three confirmed participants: Rose Noire, Tim Lilgun, and Deus Vult.
The MLBB tournament in Russia hosted by Games of Future 2024 falls under the Tier-A category, equivalent to MPL but below M-Series and MSC.
XINN also leaked information about this tournament during a live stream on Wednesday (20/12/2023), mentioning that Team RRQ would be one of the participating teams.
"I envy them, guys. Why didn't we have tournaments like this before, going to Russia? In February (2024), there's a tournament in Russia with a huge prize pool. RRQ seems to be definitely participating," said XINNN.
As mentioned by XINNN, the prize pool itself is substantial, totaling $1 million USD or around Rp15 billion, distributed as follows:
1st: $350,000 2nd: $200,000 3rd: $150,000 4th: $100,000 5th-6th: $60,000 7th-8th: $40,000 9th-12th: $25,000 13th-16th: $15,000
Unfortunately, there is no further information yet on whether Geek Fam and ONIC will also participate, considering this is an invitation tournament.
