Sanford Reveals Why EVOS & Fnatic ONIC Fell Out of MSC 2024
Two representatives from Indonesia, the Champion and also the Runner Up of MPL ID S13, EVOS Glory and Fnatic ONIC , simultaneously failed to qualify for the knockout stage of MSC 2024.

In a post-match interview session between Team Liquid Echo and Team Falcons , Sanford responded to a question about his feelings when the two Indonesian teams went home first and failed to advance to the knockout stage of MSC 2024.
He revealed that the feelings inside him were very mixed. First, he was happy because Fnatic ONIC and EVOS Glory could fall first, because it could reduce the competition.
However, on the other hand, he admitted regret because he wanted to meet one of the teams in the next round, and re-emphasized the competition that had been created between Team Liquid Echo and the two teams.
Furthermore, Sanford said that the main reason for the failure of EVOS Glory and Fnatic ONIC was the lack of chemistry between players, and they underestimated their opponents in their respective groups. Not only that, Sanford also said that MSC is not a place for EVOS Glory and Fnatic ONIC to play, because their quality is still far below the Philippine and Malaysian teams.
"I feel a little disappointed, but at the same time, I feel happy, they (EVOS Glory and Fnatic ONIC ), have already been eliminated. It's a strange feeling, but it's real. There was a part where I wanted to meet one of them in the final, but I'm relieved that they both fell," he explained frankly.
Afterwards, he also made a surprising statement to all Indonesian representatives competing in MSC 2024 this time.
"The defeat of both was due to lack of coordination between one player and another. Maybe, MSC is not their place. MSC is a place for the Philippine and Malaysian teams to compete and show off," he concluded.
Although it seems offensive, Sanford 's statement about it is not entirely wrong. Not without reason, with the situation where no Indonesian representatives advanced to the knockout stage , even the semi-finals, indirectly proves that the quality of our game is still lagging behind other teams.
