MPL ID Season 12 Tournament Information

The top Indonesian teams will compete in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia Season 12 (MPL ID Season 12).

ONIC Esports, the two-time reigning champions and winners of the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2023, are determined to defend their title against strong contenders like EVOS Legends and Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ).

The primary goal for these teams is to secure one of the two coveted slots in the M5 World Championship, scheduled to take place in the Philippines later this year.

Organized by Moonton, MPL ID Season 12 is the official Mobile Legends league in Indonesia.

The tournament comprises two stages: the regular season and the playoffs. Nine teams will compete against each other over eight weeks in the regular season.

Afterward, the top six teams will advance to the playoffs, where they'll vie for a spot in M5 and a share of the US$336,500 prize pool.

The nine teams will participate in a best-of-three, double round-robin format.

Teams placed third to sixth in the regular season will enter the lower bracket in the playoffs, giving them only one chance to fight for their tournament lives.

The first and second-place teams will be seeded into the second round, which employs a double-elimination format, granting them two chances before facing elimination.

All playoff matches, except for the grand finals, will be best-of-five series, while the grand finals will be a best-of-seven series.

The regular season is scheduled from July 13 to September 24, and the playoffs will take place from October 11 to 15.
