EVOS and FNATIC ONIC Fail to Qualify for MSC 2024 Playoffs, Making Worst History

Once again, bad news came from the Indonesian representatives at MSC 2024, this time Fnatic ONIC had to go home early and not continue to the playoffs.

Previously, Fnatic ONIC managed to get a ticket to MSC 2024 quite smoothly, indeed they had stumbled in the league phase, but in the knockout phase they went crazy.

The MPL ID S13 championship title was finally theirs again, successfully defeating strong competitors such as EVOS, BTR, etc.

Even at the start of MSC 2024, they opened their journey with a CW “savage” in a match against the Falcons.

Lose Against SYS and Selangor Red Giants Make Fnatic ONIC Out of MSC 2024

MSC 2024The champion status from their home country, plus the early match clearly makes Fnatic ONIC's steps seem very convincing.

However, fate said otherwise, the 4th day of the MSC 2024 main stage on July 6, 2024 has not yet been completed, but they have already decided to go home.

Fnatic ONIC was only able to pocket full points when playing against Falcons and had to lose to See You Soon (SYS).

Then SYS also managed to get perfect points in their match against Falcons, which made their points 2 ahead of Fnatic ONIC.

This result means they have to win the match against Selangor Red Giants ( Selangor Red Giants ) with full points to trigger the "tiebreaker".

Unfortunately, Selangor Red Giants was still too strong for them, the first point was successfully achieved by the Malaysian representative and ended Fnatic ONIC's hopes.

Even though they managed to win in the 2nd round, the final result was still the same, Fnatic ONIC was declared not to have qualified for the knockout phase of MSC 2024.

It's certainly sad to hear this, Fnatic ONIC was the last hope of the Indonesian public after EVOS was kicked out first, but what a shame, they both went home.

Hopefully in the future Fnatic ONIC can realize their shortcomings and start to work around and eliminate them.
