Galions defeats Solary in five-game final to secure back-to-back EMEA Masters titles
Galions won the EMEA Masters 2026 Summer championship after defeating Solary 3–2 in an all-French grand final on October 22.
The victory secured Galions its second EMEA Masters title of the year, with AD carry Franciszek “HARPOON” Gryszkiewicz receiving the finals MVP award.
Solary twice answers Galions
Galions took the opening game 15–6 in kills, closing in 27:45. Solary immediately responded with the most action-heavy game of the series, winning 35–19 in 33:03 to level the final.
The third game was another closely contested encounter. Galions regained the series lead with a 29–23 victory in 37:20, moving one win away from the trophy.
Solary again refused to concede. Its 24–10 fourth-game win in 34:06 forced a deciding game and denied Galions a straightforward finish.
Galions delivers in the decider
The fifth game produced a much clearer result. Galions finished ahead 22–6 in kills and destroyed Solary’s Nexus in 29:47, completing the series victory after alternating wins throughout the final.
HARPOON’s MVP recognition capped a breakout year for the Polish marksman, who had competed in France’s second division the previous season.
For Solary, the defeat concluded another deep international run. The organization appeared in all three EMEA Masters finals in 2026, winning Winter before finishing behind Galions in the subsequent editions. Galions, meanwhile, ended the year with consecutive championships and another demonstration of the strength of its regional-league roster.
