Demacia Cup Global Invitational brings together 12 teams from six regions

The first Demacia Cup Global Invitational will begin on October 3, bringing together 12 teams from six regions that narrowly missed qualification for Worlds 2026.

The tournament will also introduce Coach Comms, allowing coaches to communicate with players during parts of the competition.

Twelve teams set for international event

The field consists of three teams each from the LCK and LPL , two from the LCS and LEC, and one representative each from the LCP and CBLOL.

The participating teams are:

• Natus Vincere

• Team Vitality

• KT Rolster

• BNK FEARX

• HANJIN BRION

• RED Canids

• GAM Esports

• JD Gaming

• Team WE

• LGD Gaming

Swiss-style opening stage

The tournament will begin with all 12 teams playing best-of-one matches.

After the opening round, teams with identical records will be drawn against each other and matches will switch to Fearless best-of-three series.

Teams reaching two victories will qualify for the knockout stage, while three losses will result in elimination.

The eight remaining teams will then move into a single-elimination best-of-five bracket.

The grand final is scheduled for October 17.
