Top Esports have secured qualification for Worlds 2026 after defeating Invictus Gaming 3:1 in the opening series of the LPL Regional Finals.
Invictus Gaming took the opening game before Top Esports responded with three consecutive victories to claim the series and one of China 's remaining World Championship spots.
IG remain alive in the qualification race and will face the winner of Team WE versus JD Gaming for the final LPL berth.
Invictus Gaming strike first
Invictus Gaming opened the series with a narrow victory.
The first game lasted 40 minutes and 23 seconds, with IG edging Top Esports 12:11 to take a 1:0 lead.
Top Esports immediately responded in Game 2.
TES controlled the second map and closed it 14:8 after 31:07 to level the series.
Top Esports take control
The momentum shifted completely in the third game.
Top Esports produced their most aggressive performance of the series, recording 29 kills to Invictus Gaming 's 13 and closing the map after 35:55.
TES then completed qualification in Game 4.
They defeated IG 23:13 in 37:44 to secure the 3:1 series victory and book their place at Worlds 2026.
Creme was one of Top Esports ' standout performers, averaging 6.9 kills, 1.1 deaths, and 6.9 assists with 68.5% kill participation and 29.5K average damage per game.
JackeyLove led the team in average damage with 34.3K while posting an average K/D/A of 3.6/1.8/10.5.
Top Esports will now represent the LPL at Worlds 2026, while Invictus Gaming receive one final opportunity to qualify through the lower side of the Regional Finals.
