Chovy named LCK 2026 MVP as Smash and cvMax claim season awards

Generation Gaming mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon has been named the LCK 2026 Regular Season MVP, completing a triple crown that also includes Player of the Split and a place on the All-LCK First Team.

Chovy continues MVP streak

The award extends Chovy’s dominance of the regular-season MVP category, with the Generation Gaming star having claimed every edition since his first in the 2024 Spring Split.

This year’s voting was more competitive than in previous seasons, reflecting the tighter standings across the league.

Smash named Rookie of the Year

Dplus KIA bot laner Shin “Smash” Geum-jae secured Rookie of the Year after finishing ahead of teammate Oh “Career” Hyeong-seok, while Namgoong “Namgoong” Seong-hoon placed third.

cvMax wins Coach of the Year

Kim “cvMax” Dae-ho earned the first Best Coach award of his career.

The 2026 All-LCK First Team also featured greater variety than in recent years, with players from at least three different teams represented for the first time since 2021 Summer.
