T1 Advance to MSI 2026 Playoffs After Sweeping Team Liquid

T1 have advanced to the Mid-Season Invitational 2026 playoffs after defeating Team Liquid 3-0 in the Play-In final.

The victory secured T1 ’s place in the next stage of the tournament, while Team Liquid ’s Play-In run came to an end.

T1 controlled the opening game and took a 21-11 win, using strong map pressure and teamfighting to build an early series lead.

Team Liquid put up more resistance in Game 2, pushing T1 into the closest map of the series. However, T1 managed to close it out with a 31-29 victory to move one game away from qualification.

The third game was much more one-sided. T1 dominated from start to finish and sealed the series with a 17-5 win.

Peyz was named the best player of the match after another standout performance. He finished with average stats of 11.4 kills, 3.4 deaths and 6.5 assists, along with 39.6K average damage to champions and 78.7% kill participation.

The Mid-Season Invitational 2026 takes place from June 28 to July 12 in Daejeon, South Korea. Teams are competing for a $2 million prize pool and a spot at Worlds 2026.
