G2 Esports Defeat Karmine Corp to Win LEC 2026 Spring
G2 Esports have been crowned LEC 2026 Spring champions after defeating Karmine Corp 3-2 in the grand final.
With the result, G2 Esports claimed the spring split title, while Karmine Corp finished the tournament in second place. Both teams also secured qualification for the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational.
Karmine Corp opened the series with a 12-7 win in Game 1 after 32 minutes. G2 Esports answered in Game 2, taking a dominant 14-3 victory in 22 minutes to even the score.
Karmine Corp regained the lead in Game 3 with a 19-6 win after 35 minutes, but G2 Esports responded again in Game 4. They won the fourth game 29-13 in 29 minutes to force a deciding map.
In Game 5, G2 Esports took control and closed out the series with a 17-6 victory after 26 minutes.
SkewMond was named the standout player of the series. He finished with average stats of 7.3 kills, 1.2 deaths and 3.8 assists, helping G2 Esports secure the championship trophy and maintain their place at the top of the region.
LEC 2026 Spring runs from March 28 to June 7 and features 10 teams. The top two teams qualify for the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational, while the champion also earns a spot at the Esports World Cup 2026.
