The seventh week of the LEC 2026 Spring group stage is underway, with the action shifting to the Madrid Arena as part of the LEC Roadtrip format. G2 Esports and Movistar KOI both picked up 2:0 victories on the opening day in Madrid, with G2's win over Karmine Corp being the headline result — ending KC's perfect record in the split and handing them their first group stage defeat.
G2 Esports were in control from the very first map, putting away Karmine Corp with a dominant 14:2 performance to take the opener without much resistance. Karmine Corp showed more fight in Map 2, making it a more competitive affair, but G2 had enough to close it out 21:14 and complete the sweep. The loss drops Karmine Corp to a 6-1 record — still an impressive return, but their unbeaten run in the group stage is over.
SkewMond was the best player on the server, finishing with a 6.5/1.5/5.9 KDA, 71% kill participation, and 13.7K gold earned across the series.
GIANTX 0:2 Movistar KOI
Movistar KOI were equally clinical against GIANTX , sweeping the series without dropping a map. They took Map 1 with an 18:13 scoreline before turning in an even more dominant display on Map 2, pulling away for a convincing 26:13 victory to complete the sweep and move to a 5-2 record.
Supa stood out as the best player of the match, posting a 9.0/2.1/8.4 KDA alongside 31.8K damage dealt and 16K gold earned.
LEC 2026 Spring runs from March 28 to June 7, featuring 10 teams. The top two finishers will qualify for MSI 2026, with the split champion also earning a spot at the Esports World Cup 2026.
