LYON and Top Laner Zamudo Part Ways by Mutual Agreement
LYON has officially confirmed the departure of top laner Frankie "Zamudo" Lin following a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.
The Canadian player was unable to suit up for the team in the LCS after encountering visa and immigration complications that were outside the control of either party.
The announcement was made through the organization's official X page.
LYON took the opportunity to commend Zamudo for the professionalism and commitment he showed throughout a difficult situation, acknowledging that while the outcome was not what either side had envisioned, the two parties have gone their separate ways on positive terms and with full mutual respect.
The LCS 2026 Lock-In is scheduled to run from January 24 to March 2. The tournament champion will earn the right to represent the region at First Stand 2026, while the second and third-place finishers will secure spots at Americas Cup 2026.
