Jensen Announces Retirement from Professional Play

One of North America's most renowned players, Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen, has officially announced his retirement from his professional career in League of Legends. Over 729 games on the big stage, he managed to play for top teams such as Cloud9 , Team Liquid , FlyQuest , and Dignitas , leaving a profound mark on LCS history.

His career was filled with remarkable achievements. Jensen became an LCS champion three times, and in 2019, he reached the Mid-Season Invitational finals with Team Liquid . One of the standout moments was the 2018 Worlds semifinals with Cloud9 , marking a historic breakthrough for the Western region. He also reached the quarterfinals of the World Championships in 2016 and 2017.
