Aatrox Changes on PBE [PATCH 25.11]

Several tweaks to Aatrox’s kit have appeared on the League of Legends test server. The update adjusts his passive scaling, ability interactions, and damage types, potentially shifting his role in skirmishes and extended trades.

Updates to Stats and Abilities

Aatrox’s passive, Deathbringer Stance, now deals less damage based on the target’s max health—scaling has been reduced from 4–12% to 4–8%. However, it has received a key usability improvement: the ability is now uncancellable, meaning it won’t be interrupted by crowd control (except transformation or death effects).

The Darkin Blade (Q): The sweetspot bonus damage—the bonus from hitting with the edge of the blade—has been increased from 60% to 70%, making precise hits more rewarding.

Infernal Chains (W): The damage type of this ability has been changed from magic to physical, potentially altering how opponents build defenses against Aatrox.

These changes aim to refine Aatrox’s power curve and increase skill expression, while reducing the passive’s burst potential. As always, these updates are live on the PBE and may be adjusted before patch 25.11 hits live servers.
