Patch 25.10 Preview for League of Legends

Riot Games shared preliminary changes for patch 25.10, which affects several key game systems, including a rework of items for mages and further development of the system to combat unsportsmanlike player behavior.

New Player Behavior System
The toxic behavior detection system, launched with a cautious approach to false positives, has exceeded even the developers' strictest expectations. They plan to scale it in upcoming patches while maintaining high accuracy and minimal errors. Riot emphasizes that this process requires time and a careful approach.

Item Changes:
One of the main focuses of the update will be the rework of the item system for mages. The primary goal is to balance various build archetypes (acceleration, burst damage, temporal damage) and make them more appealing. Instead of simply nerfing the dominant "Liandry's Anguish," developers are strengthening alternative options and forming clearer power spikes for different roles. For example, inexpensive items for assassins and fighters will provide an early boost, while more expensive items for control mages will unlock potential in the second slot.
