This season, the TES team led by the two coaches advanced to S14 as the second seed; successfully advancing 3-1 in the Swiss round, but TES was swept 0:3 by T1 in the first round of the knockout stage, ultimately finishing in the top eight.
Maokai is 33 years old and joined TES as head coach in May; Maokai won the championship while coaching EDward Gaming during S11.
Despa1r (井盖) joined TES as head coach at the end of 2023, but switched to assistant coach after Maokai's arrival; his best coaching achievements include sixth place at this year's MSI and top eight at the World Championship.
According to transfer market rumors, there are reports that Coach Maokai will next go to BLG Club to replace Head Coach Bigwei; at the same time, some insiders pointed out that the head coach for TES next season will be Homme (Redmi).
