Eleven years later, the all-Chinese LPL team has once again reached the World Championship finals, and their opponent is still T1, still Faker. Over time, generation after generation of LPL players have challenged the great demon king, but have still not managed to eliminate T1 in the World Championship.
BLG, as LPL's top seed this year, was once on the edge of a cliff with a 1-2 record in the Swiss round, but they fought their way up, defeating strong opponents to reach the finals. Facing the highest peak of LOL, can they accomplish what their predecessors could not and restore LPL's glory? Or will they become another stepping stone on Faker's path to godhood?
