"Some of my old teammates have already advanced to the top 8. If we hadn't advanced, it might have become a joke. I briefly thought they might joke about it, but I didn't feel pressured. Instead, I tried to enjoy the game with a relaxed mindset."
After the match, in an online interview with OSEN, Tarzan said: "The Swiss round matches were not easy, but we finally succeeded in advancing to the top 8 after the last match, and I feel very happy."
When asked about the team's adjustment direction after losing the first game, he replied: "We thought we actually had a big advantage in the first game, but because we made many mistakes, especially in team fights, we played too impatiently and got reversed. In the second and third games, we communicated with each other and decided not to rush, but to seize the moments when the opponents were impatient, to handle the match."
When asked about his goals in Paris, Tarzan said: "Firstly, I'm very happy to advance to the top 8. Rather than talking about goals, I want to relieve the pressure of winning and losing and enjoy the game as much as possible, with a mindset more focused on learning. In the matches, I will focus on performing well. As for which team I want to face in the top 8, actually, every team is very strong. I prefer to focus on our team's performance and prepare well for the top 8 matches." This shows his firm determination to do his best regardless of the opponent.
He also added: "Many people were worried about my break during the spring season. However, this was not my first break, so there wasn't much of an issue mentally. This break allowed me to review last year's performance. When I joined the WBG team, I joined with confidence, always giving my all, not wanting to leave any regrets. I proudly think I've always been doing my best, and this year with WBG has passed especially quickly, really busy. He recalled that busy time after the summer season.
