Q: What was your first thought after being eliminated?
A: Compared to last year, I had higher expectations for this year. Ending with disappointing results again makes me very sad. I feel like I didn't play well.
Q: What do you think caused Dplus KIA to perform poorly, especially after last year's results? What changes are needed next year to prevent this from happening again?
A: Over the past two years, we haven't achieved much. I think there are many reasons, but our World Championship journey just ended, so I don't have any thoughts yet. However, it's the end of the year, so I want to slow down and prepare for next year.
Q: Dplus KIA participated in the World Championship with two inexperienced rookies, Lucid and Moham . Many criticized their performance, especially in the last match against Weibo. Do you think nerves caused their poor performance, leading to the loss?
A: We are not the type of players who get too nervous on stage, so I don't think it affected us much. I think they did well. I believe the main issue was that the veterans failed to set a good leadership example. It's our responsibility.
Q: Do you think Dplus KIA was at a disadvantage in the World Championship version? You usually play control mages like Syndra and Orianna, but your Yone today seemed uncomfortable.
A: We are well aware of the current version's champions and popular picks. I think the problem lies in our execution and operations. Our understanding of the version isn't bad; it's just that our gameplay was poor.
Q: After competing for so many years, especially facing multiple consecutive failures, how do you stay motivated?
A: From my experience, this moment is the hardest. It's tough to get through it all. But I think it takes time; things will eventually get better, and I will be able to see everything more positively. Time is the best remedy. This year's result is a failure for me, but I feel like I really need to take a good rest to recharge for next year.
Q: As a football and Messi fan, do you aspire to become the Messi of League of Legends in your career?
A: Messi is truly the GOAT, so I aspire to become someone like him in League of Legends. But realistically, it's hard to be on par with him. If I could become someone like Messi, it would be a great honor. So I will always practice hard and give my all.
Q: As this World Championship comes to a close, is there anything you want to say to the fans and all the viewers of the World Championship?
A: I want to apologize to all our supporting fans; I'm sorry our performance disappointed you. For the foreign fans, I feel like they see me and Dplus KIA as players and a team that often advances to the World Championship, but we haven't been able to deliver our best performance.
