Q: How are you feeling?
Scout : We arrived on the 29th, and I personally stayed up late before departure to adjust the time difference. It feels like everyone has adapted well, and the food is very much to our taste.
Q: How do you feel about your first match against TL?
Scout : I personally think that whenever we lose or narrowly win in a match, we often learn more. So I originally wanted to face a strong team like GEN, and it's a bit regrettable that we didn't. However, TL performed well at MSI. As the first match of the World Championship and a Bo1 single game, there could be many variables, so we still need to stay vigilant.
Q: What do you think about the opponent mid laner APA liking to use Ziggs?
Scout : Ziggs is actually more suitable for the AD position, but APA uses it very well, so this champion is very likely to appear, and we need to be prepared.
Q: What are your thoughts on the Swiss round system?
Scout : Rather than insights, I think the Swiss round system makes it less likely for strong teams to be eliminated. We will continue to work hard to become a strong team.
Q: How confident are you in your current state?
Scout : We haven't played many practice games yet, and we're not very sure about adapting to the patch. But I've always been confident in myself and believe I can perform well.
Q: If you had to pick one player in the team to watch out for, who would it be?
Scout : I think our player GALA is very outstanding, especially on the international stage. He is a player with great potential and should be noticed.
Q: What are your thoughts on the current patch?
Scout : Well, there aren't many changes in other positions, but AP champions are starting to appear in the mid lane, and more AD champions are appearing in the jungle position. Other than mid and jungle, the other positions are about the same.
Q: Do you think LNG can perform better in this patch compared to the summer split?
Scout : In fact, there are many variables in the World Championship, and strong teams don't always win, so everything is uncertain. How we perform in this patch will depend on our games.
Q: Did you gain anything from last year's World Championship?
Scout : Actually, what we learn each year is about the same. Although the patch is different every year, the overall atmosphere of the World Championship feels the same, so we just need to play well as we did before.
Q: What's the secret to performing well at the World Championship?
Scout : The World Championship requires a wealth of experience, and personal understanding and thinking are also very important. For example, how a champion performs in this patch and how to play better. The patch usually involves most people choosing and using a certain playstyle, but the key is to find your unique way.
Q: Which team do you most want to face in this World Championship?
Scout : Actually, there's no team I particularly want to face, but I would like to face this year's champion HLE or GEN, because I have never played against them.
Q: Which region do you think has the advantage, LPL or LCK?
Scout : Actually, the gap between LCK and LPL has not been very big in recent years. This year, I think the strength gap between the two sides will not be very obvious, and both sides have a great chance.
Q: Do you think the gap between LCS and LEC and LPL, LCK is still very large?
Scout : LCS and LEC definitely have their variables, but in the long run, especially in Bo5 series, their roster choices are somewhat lacking. If they use some combinations or playstyles that are rare in LCK and LPL, it might work at first, but as their opponents adapt, they will still encounter some difficulties.
Q: Do you have anything to say to Korean fans?
Scout : This year we have struggled to get to this point, and this is a very important period for me. I will work hard to prepare and strive for good results. Thank you all for your support.
