Faker: I make efforts to read fans' messages. My goal for the new year is to learn and grow.

Faker, the legendary mid laner, recently had an interview with the Korean media SKLIKE. In the following excerpts, Faker discusses his thoughts on fans' nicknames for him and his goals for the new year in 2024.

Q: In a previous You Quiz episode, you mentioned that your favorite nickname was "WeHui." What is your current favorite nickname?

Faker: I like all the nicknames; there's no absolute favorite.

Q: Do you still like the nickname "WeHui" now?

Faker: Yes, because it's a warm nickname, and I find it very nice. I like all the nicknames fans give me because they are sincere and heartfelt.

Q: Many fans send letters to Faker. Do you regularly read these letters?

Faker: Recently, fans have sent me many letters, and I make an effort to read them all.

Q: How do you feel when you receive letters from fans?

Faker: I feel very grateful. I already liked letters a lot, so I often read them. I haven't read many recently, but I will read more when I get back.

Q: After recording today, what are your thoughts?

Faker: It's great to receive everyone's support today. I feel good, especially being able to give gifts to everyone. Thanks to the fans who have been supporting me during the Asian Games and the World Championship.

Q: Finally, Faker, could you talk about your goals for 2024?

Faker: In 2024, my goal is to learn and grow. I will practice a lot and show a continuously improving performance.
