Satanic names Saksa the world's best Dota 2 player and discusses his preferred carry heroes
PARIVISION carry Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov has named Team Yandex support Martin "Saksa" Sazdov as the world's best Dota 2 player, praising his consistency and individual skill.
Speaking during an interview at BLAST Slam VIII, Satanic also discussed competition among carry players and the heroes he would like to use more frequently in professional matches.
Satanic praises Saksa's consistency
Asked whether he still considered himself the world's strongest player and whether any competing carry players were at his level, Satanic said he did not see another carry as a particular rival.
Instead, he singled out Saksa, who plays position four for Team Yandex .
Satanic explained that his assessment was based on the support player's ability to maintain a consistently high standard of performance.
Saksa recently helped Team Yandex win consecutive championships at PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST Slam VIII.
Satanic hopes traditional carries return to prominence
The PARIVISION player also discussed his preferred heroes, expressing interest in playing more Phantom Lancer, Morphling and Faceless Void.
He particularly wants Morphling to return to greater prominence in the competitive meta, allowing him to play more traditional hard-carry heroes.
Satanic also mentioned Luna, explaining that although he enjoys the hero, he considers her a solid choice rather than an overwhelmingly powerful pick in the current patch.
His remarks offer insight into the preferences of one of PARIVISION 's central players as the team prepares for further competition following its third-place finish at BLAST Slam VIII.
