ATF says Yatoro is in the best form he has ever seen
Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf believes Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk is currently playing at the highest level he has ever seen from the Team Spirit carry.
Speaking ahead of Team Yandex 's BLAST Slam VIII seeding match against Team Spirit , ATF discussed his role in his new team's drafts, the influence of his former Falcons teammates and his impressions of Yatoro after facing Spirit in practice.
ATF leaves most drafting decisions to his teammates
ATF said his current involvement in Team Yandex 's drafts is similar to when he first joined Falcons.
He explained that he did not immediately take responsibility for drafting at Falcons and only became more involved during the middle of the 2025 season.
At Team Yandex , ATF still prepares his own ideas because he is accustomed to doing so, but generally leaves the wider decisions to his teammates while occasionally contributing suggestions.
He credited his former Falcons teammates Aui_2000 , Sneyking , Cr1t and Skiter with teaching him a significant amount about the game and drafting.
Full focus on his new team
ATF also said he has devoted most of his time to Dota since joining Team Yandex .
The offlaner described himself as being in "cave man" mode, spending almost all of his time at the computer because he wants to give more than 100 percent while adapting to a new roster.
He added that he normally finds a healthier balance over time.
Yatoro changes ATF's opinion in practice
ATF admitted that he previously did not rate Yatoro particularly highly as a laner.
His view changed after Team Yandex practiced against Team Spirit .
