PARIVISION top Group A as Spirit, Yandex and BetBoom advance at BLAST Slam VIII

PARIVISION finished the opening phase of BLAST Slam VIII at the top of Group A after sweeping LGD Gaming 2:0, while Team Spirit , Team Yandex and BetBoom Team also advanced through their respective groups on September 30.

The group-stage results sent several of the tournament favorites into the seeding phase, while the losing teams were pushed into decider and elimination matches.

PARIVISION 2:0 LGD Gaming

PARIVISION secured first place in Group A with a clean 2:0 victory over LGD Gaming .

The International 2026 runners-up completed the group without dropping a map after also sweeping Level UP 2:0 in their opening series.

Satanic , No[o]ne-, Noticed , 9Class and Dukalis closed both games against LGD to move into the seeding stage with a perfect group record.

LGD remain alive but drop into the Group A decider.

Team Spirit 2:0 1w Team

Team Spirit also finished first in their group after sweeping 1w Team 2:0.

Spirit had opened BLAST Slam VIII with a 2:1 win over Team Nemesis before producing a much cleaner performance in the winners' match.

The result sends the reigning International champions into the seeding stage, while 1w Team must survive the Group B decider to continue their run.

Team Yandex 2:0 MOUZ

Team Yandex continued their excellent form with a 2:0 victory over MOUZ.

The PGL Wallachia Season 9 champions entered the tournament only days after sweeping Natus Vincere in the Bucharest grand final and carried that momentum into their BLAST Slam VIII opener.

Yandex took both games to advance through Group C, while MOUZ were sent into the elimination side of the bracket.

BetBoom Team 2:1 OG

BetBoom Team were the only one of the four winners to need a deciding game.

OG managed to take one map from BetBoom and force the series to three, but BetBoom recovered in the decider to secure a 2:1 victory.

The result sends BetBoom into the next stage of Group C, while OG drop into the lower side of the group and face another elimination test.

BLAST Slam VIII continues with the remaining decider matches before the tournament moves into the seeding phase, where teams will compete for position ahead of the Malta playoffs.
