Navi eliminate Team Nemesis after three-game lower-bracket series

Natus Vincere survived their first elimination match at PGL Wallachia Season 9 after defeating Team Nemesis 2:1 in the lower bracket.

Nemesis struck first and pushed Navi throughout the series, but the Ukrainian organization recovered across the final two games to keep its tournament run alive.

Nemesis take the opener

Team Nemesis opened the series with a strong performance, taking Game 1 with a 29–20 kill score.

The result put Navi immediately under pressure after they had already dropped into the lower bracket following their 1:2 defeat to LGD Gaming in the upper-bracket quarterfinals.

Navi respond to force a decider

Navi answered in Game 2, turning the series around with a 28–15 kill advantage.

With elimination on the line for both sides, the victory tied the series and forced a deciding third map.

gotthejuice leads Navi through Game 3

The final game remained competitive, but Navi eventually closed out the series with a 29–22 kill score.

Taras "gotthejuice" Linnikov was highlighted as Navi 's standout player in the series after another strong performance from the carry position.

The 2:1 victory sends Natus Vincere into the lower-bracket quarterfinals, while Team Nemesis are eliminated from PGL Wallachia Season 9 in 7th–8th place.
