Xtreme Gaming and Team Yandex become first teams through to PGL Wallachia playoffs
Xtreme Gaming and Team Yandex have become the first teams to qualify for the PGL Wallachia Season 9 playoffs after completing the opening three rounds with perfect 3–0 records.
Both teams secured clean sweeps in their qualification matches, with Xtreme defeating LGD Gaming and Yandex overcoming Natus Vincere .
Xtreme Gaming continued their unbeaten start by sweeping LGD Gaming .
The result improved Xtreme to 3–0 in series and 6–1 in maps, guaranteeing their place in the playoffs.
LGD dropped to 2–1 and will receive another opportunity to qualify in Round 4.
Team Yandex also completed a 3–0 group-stage start with a sweep over NAVI.
The result handed Natus Vincere their first defeat of the tournament after two consecutive 2:0 victories.
Yandex joined Xtreme Gaming as the first two teams to secure playoff places.
Team Nemesis bounce back against MOUZ
Team Nemesis recovered from their loss to Yandex by sweeping MOUZ 2:0.
The victory moved Nemesis to a 2–1 record and left them one series away from the playoffs.
Aurora Gaming also improved to 2–1 after sweeping Team Cobra, while GamerLegion defeated Pipsqueak+4 2:1 and 1w Team beat Conventus Stellarum 2:1.
First eliminations confirmed
Yakutou Brothers kept their tournament alive by defeating PlayTime 2:0.
Hokori did the same against Pibbles Corp with another 2:0 victory.
The defeats sent PlayTime and Pibbles Corp out of the tournament at 0–3.
After three rounds, Xtreme Gaming and Team Yandex are safely through, while six teams sit at 2–1 and remain one victory away from joining them.
