BetBoom withdraw from PGL Wallachia Season 9 to prepare for BLAST Slam IX

BetBoom Team will skip PGL Wallachia Season 9 and instead focus on preparing for BLAST Slam IX.

The decision was confirmed by BetBoom CEO Artem "Pioneer" Saveliev.

The organization did not provide a detailed explanation for the withdrawal beyond stating that the team will use the time to prepare for its next BLAST event.

New roster given extra preparation time

The withdrawal comes shortly after BetBoom finalized a significant roster overhaul.

Save- has moved from support to mid, swedenstrong has joined the team, and TORONTOTOKYO has returned to the organization as coach.

The additional preparation period will give the updated lineup more time to work together before making its competitive debut.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 is scheduled to take place from September 19–27 in Bucharest, Romania , with a $1 million prize pool.

Team Spirit could also miss the event, according to insider Bauyrzhan "lilskrip" Bisembaev, although the organization had not officially confirmed its withdrawal at the time of publication.
